Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teaching Assistant for a Secondary School in Denton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about education and skilled in supporting students for whom English is not their first language. The position is available for immediate start, and you will play a pivotal role in helping pupils access the curriculum, improve their English language skills, and succeed in their studies.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Secondary Teaching Assistant is essential.
• Fluency in Urdu is essential, as you will be working closely with students who are native Urdu speakers.
• Experience supporting EAL students within a classroom setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting pupils' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to EAL students in a secondary school environment, helping them develop their English skills.
• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery, ensuring that EAL students can fully participate in all aspects of the curriculum.
• Work with small groups and individual students, offering tailored support where necessary.
• Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to teachers, adapting support strategies to meet students' needs.
• Help foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
